Sailing In The City

Sailing in the City is a fantastic opportunity for young people to try the sport of sailing in the local parks of Glasgow.

Taster sessions in Auchinlea park

Glasgow City Council, in partnership with the Royal Yachting Association and funding from The Big Lottery Fund are providing young people (10-16 years) the opportunity to try the sport of sailing.

Why not come along, contact:
Physical and Outdoor Team
Cultural and Leisure Services
20 Trongate, Glasgow

Phone: 0141 287 3675

Or e-mail: Phillip.Robinson@cls.glasgow.gov.uk

Once bitten by the bug, young people can work their way through the RYA Junior scheme and gain certificates and a logbook.

Whilst participating in the sessions you will be taught to the Royal Yachting Associations junior scheme.

On completion of each stage you will be issued a certificate to put in your logbook. You must complete each stage before moving on to the next.
