Participants experiences

Michelle Lavery a sessional worker at Family Action in Rodgefield and Easterhouse (FARE) said;

I’m here to do the food hygiene course because FARE has a community cafe, all the staff take their turn helping out. It is good that the College provides these courses which are free and local. Everyone who uses FARE will benefit because there will always be a cafe service supported by people who have a food hygiene certificate. At the FARE cafe we also show young people the skills that we learn.

Cara Donnelly from Coconut Corner Childcare in Baillieston said;

We have come along to the course today to learn more so we can make the children’s lunches and snacks. I also think it will be useful to pass information that we have learned onto my family and friends.
