Voluntary organisations delivers on youth achievement awards!
GE YouthBank is now an operation agency for 'Youth Achievement Awards' together with:
All above are signed up as participating units which was initially made possible through an ‘Award for All’ grant.
Additional support has been offered by Youth Scotland and a CashBack grant. GHA have also offered to support the future of this project!
Youth Achievement Awards offer a peer assessed approach to recognising and accrediting achievements and contributions of young people aged 14 plus.
Dynamic Youth Awards
This award is recognising the contributions and achievements of young people in the 10 to 14 age group.
What this means!
- Over 20 youth work staff in the East End trained to support Young People to achieve these awards.
- Six youth workers working towards being ASDAN qualified external moderators.
What are we hoping to achieve!
- 100 young people in the East End of Glasgow achieving bronze, silver or gold awards in the next year.
- 100 young people in the East End of Glasgow achieving Dynamic Youth Awards in the next year.
