Spread the Word!

PMA and arts partner Platform have created an exciting new Spoken Word evening at the arts venue at the Bridge.

Titled 'Spoken Word', this new monthly free event started off with a literal bang in May and continous into the autumn.

Creative writing and wellbeing

For those of us who love poetry, stories, words and lyrics and appreciate the resonance that creative writing contributes towards positive wellbeing, this fun evening allows developing writers an opportunity to share their work in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Next big author, from Glasgow East?

Who knows, the next Ian Rankin, Liz Lochhead or Janice Galloway may well be discovered in the heart of the East End! Anyone can come along to watch, listen or be inspired to share.

The upcoming Spoken Word events take place at 6.30pm - 8.30pm on Thursdays including: 25th June, 27th August, 24th September and 1st October at Platform.
