Stress Management Support for Local Employers in Glasgow East

What are you doing to prevent your
organisation reaching boiling point?

Free stress management support

A free stress management support pilot programme is open to all small employers in Glasgow East with up to 250 staff and will run from March 2009. By participating in the programme you will receive:

  • Support with the stress risk assessment proccess*
  • Training for line managers on stress management
  • Awareness sessions for staff on stress management
  • Peer support from other workplace representatives involved in the pilot 

*As an employer you have a legal duty to assess the risks to health, safety and welfare of employees. This includes risks to health associated with stress at work.

By tackling stress in the workplace you can:

  • Increase staff performance, productivity, attendance levels and staff retention 
  • Improve customer satisfaction and overall organisational image and reputation
  • Reduce staff turnover and intention to leave
  • Reduce potential of litigation.

Applications to be submitted by Friday 27th February. Local employers will be selected to take part in this FREE pilot programme commencing March 2009.
