for the Elimination of Violence
Against Women 2008

In 1999 the UN adopted a resolution designating the 25th November “International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women”. The ‘16 Days of Action’ culminates on 10th December, the International Human Rights Day.

Rhythm Section
Exhibition by Katy Dove at the Bridge, Easterhouse.

Katy Dove has been artist in residence at Platform for two years. Rhythm Section brings together work produced over this period, combining both Katy’s own studio-based practice and work made through community projects, which will be exhibited throughout the building.

Eat Up was launched in April 2008 and is a new healthy eating programme which has been developed by the community..
