New developments

Sandyford East

This is a new service built next to Parkhead Health Centre with its own entrance on Nisbet Street. This is a brand new building with doctors, nurses, youth workers, IT access and library services. It also provides access to the wide range of services provided via the Sandyford Initiative.

Opening Times

Mondays 4.00 – 6.00pm

Sandyford East is mainly for people who have something they want to speak about to the nurse or doctor. This does not mean that you are not welcome to come and have a look around. There is music, magazines, leaflets and refreshments available as well as members of staff who can explain further what is available or what to expect. You can also come in to use the free Internet access (hopefully to look up sites about health).

Reasons to see the staff may include bullying, exam stress, drugs, alcohol or sexual health including testing and contraception.

It is open on Monday evenings specifically for young people but you can also visit on the other days it is open.
