Confidentiality
Everything discussed at H4U Teen Health is confidential. Contents of consultations with the doctor or nurse, informal chats with health or youth workers, chats with other young people or during groupwork remain within H4U Teen Health.
If you do not wish, the doctor or nurse cannot contact your parents or GP and tell them why you came to see them.
If you tell any of the staff anything, they do not tell the rest of the staff what you told them.
Things you tell other people or what they tell you whilst at H4U Teen Health stays in H4U Teen Health.
All contents of discussions during groupwork remain within the group to develop trust and enable people to feel confident to discuss things which they are normally reluctant.
The only time we may have to discuss what you tell us with other people is when you tell us OF A SITUATION where you or somebody else has been or may be at harm.
