Womens CentreEasterhouse Women’s Centre

Information and support project for women.

Established in 1987, the Women’s Centre has been a safe and friendly environment where local women socialise during lonely periods of their lives. The Women’s Centre provides local women with the confidence, and skills they need to participate in both working and further education opportunities.

Our Centre is available exclusively to women, however, it is not to be regarded as a ‘feminist’, ‘anti men’ environment - it merely provides local women with the confidence that they are within a safe and friendly environment. It provides somewhere for women to realise their potential and become aware of the skills they already possess or wish to develop. Also available at the centre is access to information and advice on a wide range of issues concerning women. Others prefer to take part in the courses.
