Funding

We have applied for funding to Glasgow’s Regeneration Agency, Home Scotland Internal Investment Fund and The Big Lottery Awards for All. These funds will help our organisation offer more services to the people of Garthamlock. They will help us adapt and equip our community shop with appropriate furniture to make it more accessible to all the people of Garthamlock.

The funding will also give us the opportunity to support some sessional staff so that we can keep the shop open for longer periods of time. With funding accessed from the BIG Lottery last year we contracted a company called Ryden to carry out a feasibility study about building a community facility in Garthamlock.

Report regarding new community facilities

We are now happy to announce that Ryden has delivered a report about a range of possibilities for a new community facility. The report also lists eventual sites where it could be built. Inside this edition you will find more information about our new centre proposal and we would like to hear more about what you think of it.

More information in the July Newsletter as you can download.
