Classes

Dance Academy

Tue 4.30 - 5.15pm Kids & Teens
Tue 8.30 - 9.15pm Adult

A world of dance in small, easy -to-learn, chunks. Learn how all dance forms grow from the same root. This class combines and combines many dance styles from slinky contemporary ballet to street jazz.

Tap Dancing

Tue 6.30 - 7.15pm Adult
£5/£3.50 (Local links) per class

Learn the art of tap dancing and quickly develop the skills in I.S.T.D. preparatory syllabus to dance like Fred Astaire or Ginger Rodgers. Tap shoes, water and towel required.

Salsa

Tue 7.30 - 8.15pm Adult
£5/£3.50 (Local links) per class

Salsa is an expressions of life and the feel good factor of this class is guaranteed. The class is for people who always wanted to learn the basic steps and turns. You will learn a salsa technique which has our teacher's own funky flair. You will need a towel, water and trainers.

Street Dance and Hip Hop

It's funky time.. Up for a workout? This is a funky energetic class that will make you look and feel good.

Singing

This class is designed for everyone, so come along and expand your singing skills and confidence in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Belly Dance

Let your hips do the talking! A beautiful and ancient dance form with simple therapeutic movement melts away tension and stress, gently toning the body.

Break Dance

Thursday 5-5.45pm Kids & Teens

Come, learn the cool, fun art of break dance..

This class will cover breaking foundations including toprock, basic footwork, spins and freezes.

Cheerleading Dance

Tuesdays 5.30 - 6.15pm Kids & Teens

Cheerleading is not just about shaking your Pom-Poms...

This class is for those who always wanted to learn the basic skills of cheerleading. You will learn to memorize cheers and master the art of performing them.


Visual Statement at the Bridge, Easterhouse. The Bridge

Visual Statement is based in the Bridge since 2006, the £9 million state of the art facility at Greater Easterhouse Cultural Campus, the first of its kind in Scotland.The new facility that adjoins the John Wheatley College and existing swimming pool has created a coherent and comprehensive arts facility, combining arts, educations, sports and leisure.

Payment and booking

All our classes are pay-on-the-day which means you can just turn up and pay before each session. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and go on sale thirty minutes before the start of each class.
