Headspace is a vibrant and thought-provoking celebration of the mental health and wellbeing multi-arts projects that regularly enrich Glasgow’s North East, harnessing the character, energy and creativity of individuals and local community groups.

The Theme: 'Memories,Dreams and Sleep'
Headspace 2011 uses the theme of memories, sleep and dreams to sow the creative seeds for a programme with something for everyone: stunning exhibitions, thought-provoking performances, rousing creative writing workshops, thrilling music performances and much more, all set within a relaxed, friendly environment peppered with plenty of patter.

The Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival(SMHAFF) Platform and Positive Mental Attitudes are working in partnership to bring the north east Glasgow Headspace Festival together.
Celebration for good mental health and wellbeing
The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the importance of good mental health and promote well being,how being involved in the arts can help us maintain good mental health. Building on the success of last years Headspace,we are hoping to make this years event even better!
Headspace is a partnership between Positive Mental Attitudes & Platform in collaboration with SMHAFF.

National Poetry Competition announced by Bipolar Scotland
This year Bipolar Scotland are running a poetry competition open to all over 16s in Scotland as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival. The theme of the competition is �Memory and Dreams�.
