Greater Easterhouse Alcohol Awareness Project (GEAAP)
GEAAP’S aim is to reduce the harm associated with the use and misuse of alcohol in the Greater Easterhouse area.
To try and achieve this they offer the following services:
- One to one, confidential alcohol counselling.
- Prevention and education work.
- Young persons service 12 to 18.
- Befriending.
- Alcohol and tenancy support.
- Alternative therapies.
- Group work.
- Advice support and information on alcohol related issues.
Appointments available Mon to Fri at various locations throughout Greater Easterhouse. Day and evening appointments available. Premises are wheelchair friendly.

Wellhouse Primary 6/7 have been working with Greater Easterhouse Alcohol Awareness Project thinking about the social consequences of alcohol.
The pupils drew comic strips, acted out plays and made Powerpoint presentations. Brilliant posters were made of their art work. You can see these all over Easterhouse.
