Works with young people aged 12 - 18 and who live in Greater Easterhouse. It is an education and training service and is open from 8.55am - 3.30pm. The school is wheelchair friendly.

Opening Hours

Mon - Fri
8.15am-8.55am Breakfast Club available in school canteen.
8.55am-3.30pm Education for all pupils from 1st Year to 6th Year.
3.30pm-9pm Various after school clubs.

Aims & Objectives

  • To offer a full range of courses suitable for all those using the school and to promote the school as a vital community resource.
  • To encourage all students and others using the school to develop their abilities to the full.
  • To provide modern educational resources in safe, pleasant buildings where there is an agreeable atmosphere.
  • To involve students, staff and parents actively in school life and work to emphasise the valuable contribution which all can make to it.
  • To strive to promote equal opportunities and social justice for all our students by all available means.
  • To develop the school's important role in supporting regeneration and growth.

Facilities

At present the following facilities are available for community use on a regular let basis
from 17.00 - 21.00 Mon - Fri and 09.30 - 12.30 Sat during term time and 08.00 - 17.00
Mon - Fri during school holidays.

  • 1 x Multi purpose Games Hall (3 badminton courts)
  • 2 x Multi Purpose Gymnasia (1 badminton court)
  • 1 x Synthetic pitch (floodlit)

From September 2003, the following new facilities will be open for community use, both
by regular let and casual bookings through Easterhouse Sports Centre.

  • 4 x Grass Football Pitches
  • 1 x Grass Rugby Pitch
  • 1 x Blaze Football Pitch
  • 1 x 7 v 7 grass pitch
  • 1 x M.P.G.A. (Multi Purpose Games Area) floodlit
  • 10 x brand new changing rooms
