Northern Lights is a documentary film created with videos made by people from all over Scotland.

We are running a 2 day workshop at Platform, Easterhouse to help local people make their own videos.

Are you 16+ with something to say about your world, your life and your Scotland?

The workshop will help you prepare shoot and submit your video to this exciting new project.

 12 - 13 May 2012, 10am - 4pm both days, at Platform, Easterhouse.

A new community opera performed by singers and musicians from Scottish Opera and participants from Lodging House Mission Glasgow. With support from Givin' it Laldie and Streetwise Opera.

Who killed John King?

John King is a local police officer, rising quickly up the ranks. His childhood sweetheart is Sarah Queen, whose family are notorious Glasgow criminals. Both families are unhappy with John and Sarah's relationship so when they announce they're getting married, it’s only a matter of time before old grudges come to the surface.

There’s nothing like a wedding day for airing your dirty laundry in public and this is one wedding day when sparks are guaranteed to fly!One thing's for sure, they won't be living happily ever after.

Students' Association nominated for national awards

The Students’ Association at John Wheatley College in East Glasgow has been named as a finalist in two separate categories at this year’s NUS Scotland Awards.

The two categories are the Campaign of the Year category for their gladiatorial support of the ‘Our Future: Our Fight campaign against the government cuts to Further Education Funding‘ and student support budgets, and the ‘College Students Association of the Year category.

New Green Gym in Easterhouse

BTCV and Glasgow Life would like to invite you to join us at the launch of the Easterhouse Green Gym.

Launch of Easterhouse Green Gym 25/2/2012 at Provanhall House, Easterhouse, Glasgow.

Green Gyms help people to improve their physical health and mental wellbeing by taking part in practical conservation work such as planting trees and gardening projects.
